Spirit Aid

Spirit Aid are a Scottish humanitarian relief organisation dedicated to alleviating the suffering of children and young people whose lives have been affected by poverty, neglect, abuse, lack of opportunity, humanitarian crisis or even blighted by war. For almost twenty years, Spirit Aid has supported Children and Young People, at home and abroad, helping to improve their health, education and opportunities.

Project Details

When developing a website for Spirit Aid, our main goal was to ensure that it was highly user-friendly and accessible to a wide range of people, while also reflecting the organization’s ethos and values. To achieve this, we implemented a minimalistic design with ample white space, making the content easy to read and navigate. This clean, simple layout ensured that the website effectively conveyed Spirit Aid’s message while remaining accessible to all users, regardless of their technical skills or background.

In addition to web development, we have had the privilege of photographing several of Spirit Aid’s key events, including their Toy/Food Bank Appeal and the Glasgow Kiltwalk. Choosing professional photography for your website and social media is a powerful way to communicate your organization’s mission and values to a broader audience. By capturing these moments, we were able to provide Spirit Aid with high-quality images that not only enhance their digital presence but also visually represent their commitment to helping communities.

We were also tasked with creating a promotional video for Spirit Aid to support their fundraising efforts, specifically for the Glasgow Kiltwalk. Our team began by carefully understanding the brief and Spirit Aid’s target audience, which informed the storyboarding process. Once the production plan was in place, detailing all logistics and shoot requirements, we ensured that filming ran smoothly and efficiently. The final step was editing the video to match its intended platform—social media marketing in this case—to create an engaging and impactful video that helped raise awareness of Spirit Aid’s mission through their social channels.
