We were tasked with creating a new website for Pennygown Holiday Park, with the goal of promoting their services while maintaining a fun and modern aesthetic. Along with an appealing design, the website needed to be user-friendly and functional, incorporating essential features like contact forms. The site’s ease of use was a priority, as it included various functionalities to enhance the overall experience for visitors while still aligning with the client’s vision for a fresh and inviting online presence.

Instead of building a new booking system, Pennygown Holiday Park requested the integration of their existing booking system into the website. This decision allowed for a more streamlined booking process, ensuring that users could easily make reservations without having to navigate through additional steps. We also added a TripAdvisor review widget, displaying all of the positive feedback from satisfied customers. This feature helps build trust with new visitors, as online reviews are a key factor in influencing potential clients.

When designing the new logo and branding for Pennygown Holiday Park, the client wished to retain certain elements of their original branding, particularly their beloved cow mascot, Penny. This adorable highland cow represents the local wildlife of the Isle of Mull and holds sentimental value for the business. To modernize the branding, we adapted the cow mascot into a more minimalistic and contemporary version, while still keeping the original mascot visible on the website. This balance allowed Pennygown to refresh their brand while maintaining a connection to their established identity.
