Your Face Aesthetics is a discreet medical aesthetic clinic situated in Uddingston. Headed up by Dr Heather Muir BDS (Glas) MSc (UCLan), it offers a range of treatments from wrinkle relaxing injections, chemical peels, dermal fillers, RAF Skin tightening and Body Contouring and a wide variety of medical grade skin care products.

Colour Palette.

We designed a website with a clean feel using a neutral toned pink, black and white as our main colours. The use of neutral tones is to symbolise the relaxing nature of the treatments customers would receive at Your Face Aesthetics.

Professional design and development

Website Design.

We transferred the YFA website over to our preferred website software (WordPress) in order to produce the best possible outcome for the business. As the website is an e-commerce platform, we wanted to ensure the site is easy to navigate for the end user by keeping it clean and simple using a white tone as the background. This allows the content to stand out making it easier for the user to find what they are looking for on the site.

An e-commerce platform can be highly advantageous for a business as you can customise the products (e.g. categories and variations) and design of the platform to perfectly suit your needs. Also, this makes it easier for the end-user to navigate the products on your website. Furthermore, a variety of payment gateways can be made available enabling customers to pay for products and services online. Your Face Aesthetics allows you to pay for products via PayPal or Debit/Credit card.

Booking System.

We integrated Your Face Aesthetics Fresha page into the website to simplify the booking process for the end user.

User Login.

Your Face Aesthetics required a login system to allow customers to order their beauty products. In order to facilitate this, we installed a user-friendly software allowing customers to login and access their account online in an easy-to-use environment.

Project Outcomes.

Made In Scotland completed the e-commerce re-design for Your Face Aesthetics which has resulted in the new website being much easier for users to navigate, specifically the shop section. Not only can users land on the website and proceed to purchase an item within a few clicks, the team at YFA can easily make alterations to products and content on the site, which is a key reason why WordPress was used as it is user friendly. Since the launch, YFA has seen a noticeable increase in traffic and sales through their website.
